Cookie Policy

Last updated: 15 July 2026

This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Cirqle uses. In short: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics. We only use your browser's storage for the things that make the site work.

Cookies vs. local storage

A "cookie" is a small file a site stores in your browser, often used to remember you between visits. Cirqle doesn't set its own cookies. Instead, to keep you signed in and remember a few preferences, we use local storage — a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device and, unlike a tracking cookie, isn't sent to advertisers or used to follow you across other sites.

What we store, and why

These are essential to the service — without them you couldn't stay signed in:

NamePurposeKept
cirqle_sessionKeeps you signed in and holds your login tokenUntil you sign out (or the browser tab closes, if you didn't tick "remember me")
cirqle_savedRemembers deals you've savedUntil you clear it
cirqle_mentionsCaches your Instagram feed so it loads fasterUntil you refresh it
cirqle_admin_keyInternal admin tool only — not used for normal accountsCurrent tab only

Because all of this is strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for, we don't show a cookie-consent banner — none is legally required for essential storage. If we ever add analytics or non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.

Third-party requests

Our pages make a small number of requests to third parties to load, and those parties may see your IP address as part of serving the request:

We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking.

Managing your storage

You can clear this data any time through your browser's "clear site data" / cookies-and-storage settings. Note that clearing it will sign you out and forget your saved deals.
