This policy explains the cookies and similar technologies Cirqle uses. In short: we don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't run third-party analytics. We only use your browser's storage for the things that make the site work.
A "cookie" is a small file a site stores in your browser, often used to remember you between visits. Cirqle doesn't set its own cookies. Instead, to keep you signed in and remember a few preferences, we use local storage — a similar browser feature that keeps small pieces of data on your device and, unlike a tracking cookie, isn't sent to advertisers or used to follow you across other sites.
These are essential to the service — without them you couldn't stay signed in:
| Name | Purpose | Kept |
|---|---|---|
| cirqle_session | Keeps you signed in and holds your login token | Until you sign out (or the browser tab closes, if you didn't tick "remember me") |
| cirqle_saved | Remembers deals you've saved | Until you clear it |
| cirqle_mentions | Caches your Instagram feed so it loads faster | Until you refresh it |
| cirqle_admin_key | Internal admin tool only — not used for normal accounts | Current tab only |
Because all of this is strictly necessary to provide a service you've asked for, we don't show a cookie-consent banner — none is legally required for essential storage. If we ever add analytics or non-essential cookies, we'll ask for your consent first and update this policy.
Our pages make a small number of requests to third parties to load, and those parties may see your IP address as part of serving the request:
We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or any cross-site tracking.
You can clear this data any time through your browser's "clear site data" / cookies-and-storage settings. Note that clearing it will sign you out and forget your saved deals.
